Sometimes I wonder

What I should do

Now that I’ve reached

Age 82

I’ve more years behind me

Than I’ve got ahead

So, “Now what?” I say

“Stay single or wed?”

I think the best thing

For me would be

To find myself a boyfriend

By the time I’m 83

Then the two of us

Will just enjoy

Nothing serious

Just a girl and a boy
