Pure Delight

I’m still on my staycation

And enjoying it too

I’ll write a little, paint a little

That’s what I will do

Thank goodness for the computer

I take a class online

That will brighten up my day

And everything will be fine

I have trouble walking

I practice all the time

I take physical therapy

So, life will be sublime

Now that I’ve told you my troubles

I will let them go

And they will melt away

Like the winter snow

Then I’ll enjoy my staycation

I’ll still paint and write

And I’ll talk on the phone

That will be pure delight
