We talk of love

What about hate?

Can we hate

Hate and still rate

Well, that depends

On what you call hate

I think understanding

Is a better word than hate

But when people do evil

Do we hate them too

Do we hate them

Or just what they do

Rather than get into all this stuff

Just do your best and that’s enough
