The pitter-patter of little feet

The sound of this cannot be beat

You love to play with your little pet

And to leave him each day, you do regret

However, I’m below you

And what causes me to weep

Yes, the pitter-patter

Of little feet

I’m sure your little doggie is lots of fun

But it causes me grief to hear him run

I would really appreciate one thing more

Please get carpeting on your floor.
